RÜÜTED began not as a business idea in a boardroom, but as a reflection of the lives we were already living.

Between work, family, movement, and the pace of modern life, we often found ourselves returning to a simple question:

Both of us grew up in environments where wellness was never separate from daily life. It lived quietly in the kitchen; in herbs, spices, and drinks prepared almost instinctively. Tamarind after meals. Warming spices in the morning. Herbal infusions shared across the family table. These rituals were never created for trends. They were simply ways of living well.

Gagan grew up in a lively, close‑knit family in a small city in India where community, movement, and shared routines shaped everyday life. Playing sport naturally became part of that rhythm and, over time, grew into a quiet but enduring passion. His passion for cricket took him from the grounds of Ambala to the pitches of London, and it instilled discipline, patience, and a respect for caring for the body that continues to shape how he approaches life today. After moving to the UK, he balanced studies, work, and sport while building a new life eventually bringing that same steadiness and clarity into a career in banking.

Rose grew up in a large joint family where grandparents, uncles, aunts, lived under the same roof. Daily life revolved around shared meals, conversations, and the small rituals that naturally weaved wellbeing into family life. Those early experiences created a deep appreciation for authentic food, meaningful connections, and the idea that health is something we nurture together.

Today life is moving quickly; balancing work, fitness, and an active lifestyle rooted in clean and intentional living. Becoming parents to our three‑year‑old has added an even deeper purpose to that journey. Wellbeing is no longer just about how we live today, but about the habits and values we pass on.

Despite our different paths, we realised we shared something fundamental:

a deep respect for tradition: lived in a modern way.
